Gentlemen,
Back in August we were quoted $2600 to "mow" the channel that spans
Bethel Road. At that time we could not do the work due to the growing
season. It is now December 1st, and we can perform the work any time
between now and February 1st.
Please confirm that the quote from August is still valid, and that VMC
can perform this work over the next two months. I am attaching an
exhibit showing the area to be "mowed" for a refresher.

Thanks for getting us the pricing for this maintenance work. We are
limited in what we can do in this channel, and when we can do it, by the
US Army Corps of Engineers. We are bound by the terms of a permit we
received to build the channel. In discussions with them and our
environmental consultant, we have determined that we can cut the growth
in the channel bottom once per year, and only during the dormant season
during the months of December or January.
We plan to have you perform this work beginning this year. Mike Garza
or I will contact you when we get closer to December to schedule the
work.

The price per cycle for the ditch at Bethel @ Freeport would be
$2,600.00 per cycle. Its pricey due to it being all hand work.
