Greg,
The engineering department would like this easement clarified so that
there is no expectation of city maintenance within this area. We
believe this can be handled by adding a third note to the note section.
This note could be something to the effect of: "Maintenance of the 5'
M.U. & D Esmt. shall be the responsibility of the property owner."

The attorney for Darling was not consulted before the rest of their
staff approved the plat. She wanted the easement re-defined between the
lots.
Please find attached the change requested by Darling, showing a section
through the easement.
If staff is fine with the change, we’ll prepare the copies for
signatures.
