Bethel RoadClay,
A contractor working for Atmos Gas damaged our 16" water line in Bethel
Road this morning. The line will need to be shut down and Hanson Pipe
will be coming out to make the repair. When we shut the water off
approximately 25 residents and businesses will be out of water. There
is a possibility that Bethel Road may be shut down for a period of time
during this repair.
This work is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm this evening, and will last
into the morning hours. The Hard 8 BBQ will be closing this evening at
7:00pm. All other businesses will be closed by then as well. We have
placed door hangers on all the homes that will be impacted. The only
homes impacted are on Bethel Road and Loch Lane.
This damage, and the necessary repairs, are unrelated to the shut-down
we intend to do on Sunday afternoon, however our contractor plans to
take advantage of the opportunity to complete some of his work tonight.
Any work he is able to accomplish during the shut-down tonight will help
minimize the time spent on Sunday.
