We are installing the bases that Per Birdsall requested yesterday. We
have no issue with this. I think it was just miscommunication yesterday.
Brad is installing them right now.

Marty,
I’ve looked into this, and I think I’ve found the cause of the problem.
We are in the process of adopting new details, and the sign base detail
is one that will be changing. I have a copy of both the current detail,
and the proposed detail, and I’d like to meet out there with the sign
guys to discuss it.

Just to let you know, my sub was approached by the department that
approves the signage and was told they did not want the pole bases
installed per the plans. I do not have the particulars about what they
wanted yet but they definitely do not want what is in the plans. Thought
you might need to know this, and I will forward more information when I
get it.
