Old Town Improvements
(Coppell & Bethel Rd Infrastructure)
The project includes reconstruction of Bethel Rd. from east of Freeport
Pkwy. through the intersection of S. Coppell Rd./Mitchell St. The
project also includes all infrastructure necessary for the new "Town
Square" south of Bethel Rd. and west of Coppell Rd. A map showing the
proposed improvements is available on the City's website at
www.coppelltx.gov. Click on the Current Road Construction icon.
All Old Town businesses will remain open and accessible to
shoppers. Please follow the detour signs.
As work progresses, Bethel Rd. will be closed at the
intersection of S. Coppell Rd./Mitchell and Bethel Rd. During this
closure, the contractors will maintain a detour between S. Coppell and
Bethel Rds., and a detour between Mitchell and Bethel Rd. Through
traffic will be detoured through the Old Farmer's Market site. Detour
