RE FW Old Town Coppell (4)We have a meeting this morning at Darling. I’m going to ask this again with all of their people in the room to see if we can get the answer we want. Gregory K. I understood that Greg would discuss the possibility of dedicating an easement behind the ROW to place these transformers. If we are able to do that, this will be a non issue. The location where the vehicle would be located in the driveway ( 15 feet back from face of curb ) has an elevation approximately equal to the top of curb where the transformer is located. Also, the height of the driver’s eye is typically 3.5 foot above the ground at that point. Therefore, even if we end up with a transformer that is 3.0 feet in height, the driver will be able to look over the transformer. Mike Glenn, P.E. Glenn Engineering Corp. At the alley intersection with Houston Street and Travis Street, there are some electric transformers in the area of a visibility triangle. These transformers are 30-36 inches in height and the ordinance says that the visibility height is 30 inches. If we end up with a transformer that is 36 inches in height, will that be okay?
