RE Phase 2 Landscape (3)Our comments (regarding our side of the street affected by this):
1. We still wish to use the cedar elms in every treewell in the
streetscapes throughout, except Savannah Holly in front of the retail
1-5 on West Main. If it matters, we would vote for the same on the park
as that is what we plan for the restaurant pads on the north portion of
the park.
2. The parking islands look like they will have a very full appearance
on opening day, but it seems to be too much plant material for the space
as it matures.
We are supposed to turn in our plans on Tuesday.

Attached are the preliminary landscape plans we discussed at DRC last
week. The plan is that these sheets will be added into the Pavilion
project, and that this landscape will be installed at that time.
It appears that they are including landscaping in areas adjacent to the
private development portion of this project. Those areas may be best
left until such time as they develop. Please review and let me know
what comments you may have so these plans can be finalized by the
designer.
