Re SprayingThanks Keith...
I'm especially concerned now that I found out that the neighbors have
some sort of day care business. I thought all those kids were theirs but
someone told me the reason they put the fence up was because they have a
day care business. The mosquitoes are really (literally) getting to be a
pain.

Carlos,
I'll get with our environmental health folks in the morning and
see if we can come check it out.
One of us will touch base with you tomorrow.

It's been a long time since you have heard from me
regarding the adjoining "creek/drainage ditch/garbage dump" but I have a
request. With all this rain, it has become unbearable to do anything
outside due to the mosquito infestation. I have sprayed the area several
times prior to the rain with Malathion but I suspect the ongoing rain
has made it ineffective. In spite of spraying ourselves with DEET and
having a perimeter of Citronella Tiki lights we are in a loosing battle
with the mosquitoes, especially in the afternoons. The people across the
creek appear to have started a "day-care" so I can only guess the
problem they are/will be having with the pesky bugs. Is there any way
that the city can spray this creek/channel to try and control/eradicate
the mosquitoes? In lieu of the fact that you will not control the weed
infestation, which only adds to the bug control problem, I would hope
that you can at least spray to control the bugs before we end up as a
West Nile statistic.
