Re Old Town Coppell Parking - LandscapeIf planning is satisfied, go with the less expensive option. Keith Keith Marvin, P.E. Project Engineer (972) 304-3681 >>> Dan Prendergast <drp@freese.com> 1/30/2012 5:47 PM >>> Keith, We submitted 2 different landscape designs (a “Cadillac” version and a schematic with less plantings that still meets code). It looks like the cost difference between the 2 (using bid prices) is a little over $7,000 (see attached). I was told by our landscape guys that Matt Steer is okay with either version. Do you have a preference? Also, based on the City detail it looks like the manhole riser on SD Line I will still fit within the pavement limits of the driveway as long as they place the riser on the north side of the box. We took out the stamped concrete in the drive so placing the MH in the stamped concrete is no longer a concern. This will keep the HGL below the ground and maintain our original design.
