Greg,
I just spoke with Rick Fielding at Oncor about our Old Town 3-phase
power situation. He has completed his design and estimate, and is
having someone review it right now. Pending any final revisions, it
appears that the Oncor cost will be $67,802 for the three 3-phase
transformers, wire, etc.
Oncor does require this contract to be with one entity, but they are
comfortable with the entity being CSE, or the City. In the interest of
expediting this agreement, would CSE be willing to execute the agreement
and fund the entire amount to Oncor, with the City reimbursing CSE for
our share? Based upon previous discussions, we would expect CSE to bill
the city for $22,600.67, or 1/3rd of the total expense.
Once we meet with Housley in the morning, I expect to have a similar
conversation for the civil work necessary to support this electrical
work.
Thanks,
Keith

All:
I spoke with Clay and he is agreeable with taking the approach of
having Greg Yancy front the full expense and the City reimburse him for
our portion of the project. Keith can ask Greg to sign off on this
approach? Can you also verify that Oncor would be amenable to Greg
signing the DSA since it is not his property?
If all parties are in agreement with this approach then it will not
require action from City Council on June 11 and Clay will inform them
via a memo.
Thanks, Mario
