Re Fwd Phase 2 Landscape (2)I believe the islands around the square should be similarly designed as
those in other locations. The rosemary and yaupons should be included.
Bill, please have Carol also include the Liriope in the sidewalk tree
wells in lieu of turf. I know this may test her sensibilities, but if
she can accommodate for the sake of the project? Please have her review
the irrigation to determine if changes are necessary because of this.

So, in the landscape islands within the onstreet parking, Big Blue
Liriope should replace the turf as indicated on the Feldman Plan and we
will not have upright rosemary or dwarf yaupon hollies as shown on the
F/N Plan. Correct, or did you want these as well? Also, for the
resubmittal, could you indicate Big Blue Liriope with Cedar Elms in the
tree wells of the sidewalks?

For consistency throughout the development, it looks like we should
stick with the Big Blue Liriope in the parking lot islands near the
square to match those in other areas. The "turf" that is proposed in
the Feldman plan will likely have problems looking good in the long run,
as will the Liriope.

I've been asked to send these plans out for your consideration.
Attached are the approved landscape plans for the portion of Main Street
between Bethel and Houston.
I'm also including a Phase 2 landscape plan that was started by Freese
for the area around the square. They are no longer working on this due
to the overlapping scope with the pavilion design.
