easement approved and he is ok with changing the language in the
easement as you requested. I will have Aubrey make the changes and send
them back to you so we can be ready for Council on September 10th.

Jerry,
I have not seen a response to my email from last Wednesday below. I
spoke with Harvey Holden from DFW last week, and he has indicated to me
that time is of the essence for this project. I went ahead and placed
the easement item on the agenda for September 10th. In order for it to
remain on the agenda, I need to have revised easement documents no later
than noon on Wednesday.
As I indicated to Harvey, the delay in approval of the permit to place
this power service is the easement dedication itself. I believe Harvey
was going to speak with you or one of your engineers about the
possibility of routing this service through an existing easement or
right of way. If Oncor decides not to go through with this easement
request, please let me know so I can pull the item from our council
agenda.

We have concerns about some of the easement language. I’ve marked up
the dedication instrument you sent. Essentially we do not want to give
you the right to construct aerial lines, we don’t want to give you the
right to lease our land to a third party, and since this is a landscape
area we object to giving you the right to remove our landscape.
In order to make the September 10th agenda, I need to have the request
in to our City Secretary by Friday afternoon. Please let me know if any
of these changes will cause you guys problems.

Hello Jerry,
This is for a DFW project that needs attention. DFW has
a noise monitor in Coppell that is on private property that needs to be
relocated into ROW. But before that can be solved with a permit there
needs to an easement granted on City Property (see attachment). I was
hoping you could get this request to the City of Coppell. Again,
hopefully the City will work with DFW and grant this easement. Will
serve the noise monitor by coming down the 5' easement into City ROW
where the new noise monitor will be located. There is a transformer
serving a transformer on City property that we will use for service to
the noise monitor.
