TxDOT Project CSJ 0364-02-017 SH 121 Utility Coordination Meeting Monday March 18 2013Ladies and gentlemen;
First off, let me say thanks to all of you that were able to attend
the utility coordination meeting for the TxDOT project CSJ 0364-02-017,
SH 121 from 0.549 miles south of the Tarrant/Dallas county line to 0.243
miles north of the Dallas/Denton county line. For those of you that
weren’t able to make it, let me briefly provide a bit of information.
With this project letting date being July of 2013, we respectfully ask
that all utilities provide us (TxDOT) with utility clearance letters
(signed) stating their estimated dates that they will be clear of
conflict on or before April 18th. This is the tentative date set for
the next monthly meeting. Please bring clearance letters to this
meeting if you haven’t provided before.
(NOTE: Pretty much everyone is aware that ROW has not been completely
acquired at this time. Based upon latest ROW status reports and
discussions, ROW could be possibly acquired by letting, July. )
We are asking that your estimate date be based upon the July letting
and possible ROW acquisition date. As you may or may not know, as
stated on the clearance letter form, please understand that the
clearance letters are strictly an estimate and is provided to the State
solely for State planning purposes. This letter is not intended to
create any legally binding commitments on either Utility or State, nor
to waive any rights Utility or State might otherwise possess.
We (TxDot) do look forward to seeing this project get off the ground,
and hopefully, we’re headed in the right direction.
As you can see, there’s a few items attached. For the few others of
you that requested a bit more information, please understand that this
will be provided in a timely manner.
Again, we do appreciate you cooperation and coordination with this
upcoming project. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
Thanks,
Gary G. Gilmore
