RE Highland Meadow OptionHi Keith, Was it S. Hertz Road you mentioned that had some similarity? I drove it the other day but didn’t see areas with bump-outs and/or sidewalk ramps. This doesn’t have the dimensions shown on the smaller ones, but it does show the full limits of the street. We would be able to print this full size for the meeting in March. Let me know what dates work best for you. Thanks. Keith Marvin, P.E. It would be great if we could go look at something like what you’re proposing. Couple questions: 1) Do you have a key to show where the current sidewalk and street is? It looks like the areas in white are the new borders, is the solid line the old? 2) Do you have a drawing for the last circle on the street? Matt has spent some time developing an option that incorporates the feedback we received at the HOA meeting in November, as well as some of the constraints we will need to meet. See Matt's explanation below and the attached exhibits. Please take some time to look these over, and solicit feedback from your neighbors. We would like to know your thoughts before we proceed with detailed design plans. If you would like to get together and look at a larger exhibit, please let me know. Thanks for your assistance with this important project. I believe this option will still allow on-street parking and the wide street feel that the residents like, but allow for some traffic calming and easier turning movements for the trash trucks. It also allows room for the pedestrian facilities to meet ADA requirements and room for the mailboxes and street lights to be strategically placed with minimum impact to the accessibility route. Additionally, it will allow the improvements to be constructed with less impact to the adjacent properties and franchise utilities. Please let me know if you need anything further on these. If you would like any modifications, please let me know and we will get them modified. Thanks again and have a great day! Matt Atkins, P.E. | Vice President
