Gate Entry and Electrical NeedsHi Kieth,
I spoke with Kyle Ray this morning. His feelings regarding gate
entry concurred with mine. Until you are able to create a separate
entrance you are more than welcome to gain entry through the main gate.
If you would like to use a separate lock, that would be great. However,
I do have an alternative method of entry that you may choose to use
instead. I have a combination lock on the gate. There are contractors
with Sprint, Time Warner, Ericsson and the ranch hand James Lockridge
that all use this combination lock. You are welcome to use it to gain
entry. That way you will not have to deal with the lock and doling out
keys, etc. The combination is: 1200. The trick is once the combination
is dialed in, it is necessary to push and then pull. Let me know what
you think.
The other issue we discussed yesterday was electricity. Kyle
believes it would be best to have your own meter set. I put a call in to
the Oncor representative that could get us headed in the right
direction. He did not answer, so I left a message for him to call me. If
you would like to call him, too, his name and number are as follows:
Bruce Caly and his number is 972-721-6387. He may or may not be the
supervisor to actually set up your meter, but he has helped me in the
past and gets problems solved in an expeditious manner. If he does call
me I will keep you in the loop. Because of the poles and line that was
run for the electricity Luminant use, I believe it will make it much
easier to get a meter set for you.
