RE North Lake (4)Bill, We’re resubmitting to TCEQ in response to their comments this week and so their approval will not control the schedule. We will also submit that corrected set of plans and specs to Dallas this week. I don’t know how long their review takes. Whenever the City is comfortable advertising, our schedule currently runs like this: * 2 months advertise and award to NTP * 2 months to lower lake to 485 – mostly excavation work performed * 4 months to lower lake to 478 – construction of conduit and intake and the bulk of the work * 1 min. to 3 max. month delay in contract – was set for y’all to do plantings with the lake maintained at 478 * 1 month to complete and clean up. Lake will start rising as dictated by inflows. How does that fir with your plans? Thanks JLR John L. Rutledge, P.E. We still need to firm up your anticipated schedule. You can always leave the start date open and describe the subsequent steps in + days … For example: ___(actual date to be filled in when it occurs)___ - Coppell takes ownership of the land + 3 days - Formal submittals to TCEQ & Dallas + 30 days - _________________________ + 90 days - _________________________ ________________ - Final completion At this point, even your best guess would be helpful so that everyone can begin to plan their work. He’s been handling the CLOMR/LOMR process. Roy, am I correct on this? Our attorney is hoping for a quick resolution. I don’t have an answer on the other question concerning who to submit plans to in Dallas. I haven’t dealt with anybody concerning anything but the utilities. I’m copying Bill Walker on this email and maybe he has a contact at Dallas to submit the plans to. If not, then I would assume we would just follow the normal submittal requirements for Dallas.
