Azle EarthquakeHi Kieth,
When I was here at the plant yesterday, there was another
earthquake in Azle. I did not feel anything and was unaware of any
episodes until I got home and saw it in the news. It registered 2.6. I
waited until late this afternoon to come out as it is not unusual to
have aftershocks. After inspecting both dams, I encountered no changes
in either dam. The fact is, I believe the dams are greener this December
than anytime in the last several years. The timely rainfall has been
amazing. It is suppose to rain again tomorrow and again next week. As
the grasses are dormant this time of year and do not need much water, I
hope the dams do not become saturated from too much rain. I will be
monitoring that as well. I have experience with that situation and there
just is not anything that a person can do.
Thanks,
James
