Cattle on Main DamHi Kieth, At this writing, there are approx. 30 head of cattle at the base of the Main Dam here at NLSES. As it is just too muddy for me to risk getting stuck, I called James Lockridge to round them up and get them back on Billingsly property. As I explained at the meeting last week, as the food supply for the cattle dwindles the cattle are going to go to City of Coppel property more and more to find food. James did answer his phone and told me he now is not going to construct any fencing. He is not going to round up his cattle. He told me that he has notified the CIty of Coppell, that if fencing is needed the City of Coppell will have to buy and erect the fencing. As I have experienced in past meetings with James and Luminant regarding cattle on the Main Dam and Saddle Dam here at NLSES, James spoke not one word of truth the entire time of the meeting with the CIty of Coppell. There is heavy rainfall scheduled for North Texas today and tomorrow morning, so it will be some time before I can keep the cattle away from the dams without the distinct possibility of getting stuck.
