RE Shale StockpileKeith,
I went by the site last week and it has a bigger visual impact than I
think anyone realized, probably due to being on a slope and the way they
are pushing out a relatively level surface. The face towards the creek
is pretty big. I think you or Derek ought to go look at it. I think we
have a few options:
They can spread a little closer to the spillway channel and a little
further up the hill. They can’t go closer to the powerlines.
They can work more towards a top slop that matches the original slope
better
The biggest help would be to place remaining fill in the bowl area that
is directly below their office. That looks like a large area on which it
could be spread out.
Thanks,
John

Kevin,
See below email from Archer Western. Do you see any issues with the
location of the current stockpile?

Keith,
Do you think you would be able to come to the site sometime in the next
couple days and look at the shale stockpile? It is getting pretty large
and if you wanted us to store it in a way that differs from the plans,
we need to decide on that now.
