RE Bid sync questions - Northlake (2)I had a voice mail with a similar question on the fill. May have been
the same person. We covered that at the pre-bid, but there is obviously
enough confusion that we should clarify it in writing. Since there is no
change that I’m aware of we don’t need a formal addendum, but is that
the best way to transmit the explanation? We’ll draft something up
Thanks,
John

Subject: Bid sync questions - Northlake
Keith,
These two questions came in through Bidsync this morning. Let me know
If you want me to post the answers in Q&A or do an Addendum. If we do
an addendum, I will need to post it no later than 2:00 on Monday
(11/18).
Thanks.
1. Reference drawing #C-15 (17) is the work shown on this drawing
required for this project or just if we need the borrow material?
2. Section 5 - Description of pay items #7 and #8. Addendum #1
included the backfill of the main dam ( drawing C-16) with bid item #8.
Please adjust bid quantity #7 to include the excavation of the main dam.
Per out takeoff of this project the main dam excavation is not included
in this bid item. Per Item #14 on page 1-11 we would not get paid for
this excavation if this quantity is not adjusted.
