Pumping Option
We have looked at the cost to use a pump to pump the lake water into
the 42” pipe and it will cost $205,000 to complete. This will allow us
to lower the lake in 50 days while avoiding any conflict with
surrounding properties. Archer Western would be willing to pay for
$50,000 of this cost. This agreement to assist in the cost is based
mainly on coming to a quick resolution that will remove the water in 50
days. We have started our excavation and need a response quickly, so
this offer will only be valid as long as we hear back in the next two
weeks. So the total needed would be $155,000 to complete this.
This would be a one-time lowering so if sometime during the project the
lake were to rise, we would have to lower it once the intake structure
is complete through Billingsley property.
Please let me know something on this soon. Sometime next week, our
excavation will drop below 480 and at this point we will not be able to
drain through the drainage channel to Grapevine Creek.
