The meeting last week went smoothly and was informative for
everyone. One question I have, concerns the sprinklers and the concrete
collars that protect the sprinklers. There are a total of over forty of
each on the dams. The sprinklers cost over $400.00 each and the collars
are a special order item. Do you think we should salvage those
sprinklers and collars? The sprinkler lines will be destroyed, but if
irrigation is going to continue after the dams are lowered, the
sprinkler heads and collars could be used again. The first order of work
is going to be to make an entrance for the contractor's trailer and
trucks, so there is time to remove the sprinkler heads and concrete
collars and place them in a safe location for use later on. Let me know
