FW Outfall of 18 PEP Siphon (2)FYI. We promised to notify the Billingsleys when we got this. Keith,
should I be the one to do that?
Thanks,
John

John,
Here is the letter from Irving. IFCD#3 said it would be Monday before
they could put a letter together.
Along with a Hold Harmless letter, we would need a list of contacts to
call during the siphoning operations.
Thanks,
Garry

Garry,
I was curious if you had been able to finish your review of the North
Lake dewatering plan, and if not, how long you think that would take.
I’m trying to respond to questions from the Contactor and Coppell.
I appreciate your help.
Thanks,
John

John,
They call out an apron but they do no describe it. A photo would be
helpful. The detail does not show an apron.
Thanks,
Garry

I think he was planning on having the pipe exit be at the top of the
sloping apron and letting it flare naturally. I have forwarded your
email to him and will let you know when I hear back.
I’m sure some platform could easily be built to prevent splashover.
Thanks,
John

John,
The inlet opening they are proposing to go to is only 6” high but 20
feet long.
Are they planning to flair or compress the end of the 18” pipe so the
water comes out in a flatter dispersion of the flow and none of it
splashes out into the street?
Thanks,
Garry
