Co # 5 Pumps Station PricingKeith,
Please see the attached change order to start up and test the pump
station at the Trinity River. This cost does not include anything for
Oncor as they are still working on their price. Once they send me their
price, I will send it on to you, and you can decide if you want to
continue to have to call Oncor out every time you want to start the
pumps or you can pay Oncor to install a meter per their pricing.
This pricing includes the following:
Pump service tech to inspect pumps before starting.
Inspection includes draining motor oil and inspect oil for
contamination (doesn't guarantee bearings are not
contaminated), dropping the impeller to ensure the bearings
and wear rings are not too tight, checking total indicator run
outs for motor and pump shaft straightness, and couple the
pump to the motor and rotate pump by hand. After these
checks, service tech to ensure pump is properly lubricated by
pumping grease into the bearings and filling the oil tank.
Service tech to then start pump and monitor voltage, current,
and vibration readings to determine if pump operates properly

• Replacing any wiring or equipment determined damaged or not working
during
the testing period
Smith Pump has provided pricing to pull and inspect the pumps if they
are not in running condition. I have not included this in the cost
proposal as we will not know if this is necessary until after
inspection. If after initial inspection this is determined to be the
case, I can put together the cost proposal for this.
