RE Contract modKen and Keith,
Now that the project is out to bid, I wanted to make sure the
construction phase effort gets under contract appropriately. I recall
that you wanted to take the contract mod and the construction bid to the
same council meeting. Is there anything else you need from us over what
I sent in the 9/24 email?
Thanks,
John

Subject: Contract mod
I’ve adjusted the scope and the contract modification to include the
extra effort for the changes to the main embankment as well as the
access road modifications. I had planned to eat that extra when it was
by itself.
I figured adding it to the contract change for the general
representation would be easiest for you since it would all be part of
one package going to the Council. I’m fine waiting on its authorization.
If, for some reason, it’s easier to do the design extra as a separate
mod now prior to that, let me know and I’ll get you that.
We’ll get you an updated cost estimate for the package shortly after we
get the modified plans completed.
Thanks,
John
