RE Spillway Runoff (2)I’d love to hear what he says. Michael and I have been talking the last couple days about how he might use the old 42” line and drain to the river. It would bypass the Billingsley’s property entirely. Good for everyone. We considered that in design and didn’t think it real possible and I’m still skeptical, which is why I haven’t brought it up in our meetings. Michael is working on some ways to connect to it at a lower elevation downstream from the dam either by gravity or with a more realistic siphon. I’m not sure whether we’ll get to feasible or not, but if James has been a help to him, more power to him. If this gets anywhere, we’ll need to look at the pump station near the river and understand how it drains out. I’ve never seen it and am not sure how that has been done in the past. Did he have some good ideas? Keith Marvin, P.E. I appreciate his concern. I talked with Michael of Archer this morning and I have an idea that could save thousands upon thousands of dollars and make Billingsly happy as well. I would like to meet with you and discuss my idea. I know I got Michael's attention and I hope you allow me to talk to you in depth about it. This coming Monday is not a good day, but the rest of the week I am totally free. Thanks, James P. S. I left the quarterly dam report with Michael at your office bldg. I would normally have done it in Jan., but I have to spend time and effort walking down both dams, and I gave my hip more time to heal before tackling the task.
