Dear Mr. Clancy:
This letter is a summary of the meeting that took place at the above-noted site on May 23, 1995.
Those present were as follows: Tim Falkofske, P.E., Falkofske Engineering, Inc.,
Mr. Tim Clancy, Metroplex Retaining Walls, Mr. Charles ]'ackson, P.E., Rone Engineers, Inc.,
Mr. Charles Adan~, Marlo Sinacola & Sons, Inc., Mr. Mike Daniel with Nathan D. Maier
Consulting Engineers, Inc., Mr. Bill Thompson, developer, Mr. Mike Martin and another
individual from the City ot~Coppell, Texas, Bu~ding Construction Department.
The meeting was held to 'discuss the repairs necessary to provide additional lateral restraint at the
base of the retaining walls along the east side of the property adjacent to a pond. The walls are
approximately fifteen hundred (1500) feet in length.
The results of the meeting are as follows.
1. Mr. Charles Jackson, P.E., of Rone Engineers, Inc., will develop a set of
specifications, plans and recommendations for the replacement of soils at the bass
of the wall. This will include recommendations for scarifying existing soils,
consolidation compaction of the soils to be added to the existing grade, and
recommendations for future erosion control.
2. Mr. Charles Adams, of Marlo Sinacola & Sons, Inc., reviewed the site to
determine the means of heavy equipment mobilization to do the excavation work.
3. Mr. Bill Thompson, developer, will deal with access through the golf course
and will meet with the floodway control officials to allow access to the site for the
earth-moving equipment.

4. Mr. Mike Daniel, P.E., with N.D.M. Consulting Engineers, Inc., will compute
the amount of fill required at the base of the wall.
5. Officials with the City of Coppell, Texas, indicated that they understood the
problem at hand and were willing to work with us.
6. Tim Clancy, with Metroplex Retaining Walls, Inc., noted that Metroplex
Retaining Walls, Inc. would be available to provide cosmetic repair as needed to
the retaining walts after the excavation repair work has been completed.
Metroplex Retaining Walls, Inc. is also willing to provide small rip-rap at the base
of the weepholes located at the corners of the lots above.
7. Tim Falkofske, P.E., of Falkofske Engineering, Inc., will be available to hdp
coordinate the above.
