Attached is a revised set of civil plans for the above referenced project. I believe we have
addressed all the comments from your April 12,1993 letter except for No. 1.
The property that abuts the Fairways on the east is owned by the Northwest Dallas County
Flood Control District whose sole purpose is to accommodate drainage. The District is
responsible for maintaining the drainage facilities on their property. Therefore, an easement to
the City should not be necessary. You should have a copy in your file of a letter from the
District approving our design.
Also, the mark-ups ask for positive overflow for the inlet in Alley A- 1 (Sheet No. 7). We feel this
is accomplished in the alley. Note that the adjacent finished floor elevations are higher than
the high point in the alley.
It is our understanding that the City now has landscape plans. When possible, please let me
know what the fee will be for the irrigation meters.
The retaining wall design along the east property line is now being done by another firm. You
should be receiving those plans soon.
