We have a clause in our code whereby service outside of the city is at a rate not less than 2 times the existing rate.
Since we agreed to a 1.25 factor in 95, I presumed we would continue with that rate rather since at least a small portion
of the property is in Gpv.

We assumed that the rates were included because the land owners were a party to the original agreement, as re-
structured.. it’s between the two cities.. and your service rates are established elsewhere?? Let us know.. thanks!

Just a quick review reveals one problem.
Section II, Paragraph B & C need to remain.
This ILA effectively replaces the old one from 1995 and the 1.25 times surcharge for W & SS rates was in that
agreement. It has to remain as well as the new tract being served in Coppell.
Will have our attorneys give it a quick look and get back with any other concerns.

Thanks for your patience. Attached is a red-lined version of the Inter-local agreement reviewed by our staff and City
Attorney.
The major revisions include:
Specified the addresses of the properties effected by the agreement for clarity
Deleted the property owner from the agreement, as it is between the two cities. We assume they were involved
originally because the property was not yet developed.
Changed the signatures to the mayor vs. city manager.
If possible, could you add the Coppell City Limit line to the Exhibit, which is the center line of the creek to the northeast,

so there is no confusion with the city of Lewisville
The engineering department will send the letter to you requesting W and WW service by the end of the week.

I tentatively have this on the Council Agenda for March 9, so my request is due to the City Secretary’s office by the 29.
