RE: Park West Crossing Phase II Lots 2-5
Halff Associates has prepared the resubmittal package to address the applicable City comment dated
December 22, 2015. We have referenced the original city comments below in black and have our
corresponding response directly below each in red italics.
1. We will need barrier free ramps to cross at South Coppell Road since we do not have a crossing
at the bridge to the east.
Barrier free ramps added.
2. Add pier or piers to the headwall in the creek. Turn the creek contours on.
At the pipe outfall into the creek, for the 10'x6'drainage box culvert that runs through the site, we
were allowed to toe down the structure 2'in depth on 3 sides in lieu of piers while also making sure
the outfall was located at the toe of the embankment. We are proposing to do the same on this
outfall. This can be seen on our sheet C3.02. Would a pier still required?
Creek contours turned on.
3. Our new standard detail as of July 2014 requires#4 bars in the pavement section. You can request
a variance to this, I just need a letter/email requesting this.
Please see our variance request(attached).
4. Go ahead and resubmit with the new water layout.
See revised plans (attached). The plat is being updated to reflect these changes.
5. You do not have to include the landscape plans in this set.
Noted. Since the landscape has already been completed, we have gone ahead attached it to our
plan set for reference.
6. C3.04- existing ground line circled.
This reflects the existing ground in this area. This is a stockpile from Phase I construction
7. C4.01-why so many bends on the water line?
This is to cross an existing sanitary sewer at 90 degrees, per TCEQ requirements
