Project Name: Denton Tap/Sandy Lake, City of Coppell
For week of 2/15/2016 -2/27/2016
Key • Drilled remaining foundations along Denton Tap
• Prepared rebars, formed and poured concrete for 17 pole foundations
accomplishments • Excavated for manhole at Salanta driveway, hauled off dirt and set one 4-way
last period manhole
• Removed one trench box and adjusted another in preparation for setting second 4-
way manhole (at Smashburger)
Upcoming tasks Crew No. 1 -Install pipes at Salata and set manhole at Smashburger
for this period • Receive 2nd manhole with necks from supplier on Monday
• Remove 2nd trench box and adjust remaining trench boxes at Smashburger, Rental
will pick up 2 boxes on Monday
• Perform excavation at Salata location and prep for 2-6" PVC install to new manhole
• Reset trench boxes and set 4-way manhole at Smashburger
• Remove and haul off concrete from saw cut

Crew No. 2-Work around intersection(Sandy Lake @ Denton Tap)
• Surveyors to stakeout ped poles
• Prep area for ground box installation at intersection
• Pothole and drill 4 ped pole foundations (2 @ NE and 2 @ SE corner)
• Prepare rebars and form work for ped poles
• Set new ground boxes at intersection
• Pour concrete for ped pole foundations
• Run conduits and wires to new ped pole foundations and cabinet
• Remove forms
• Relocate ped poles on new poles
• Install ground box at various locations
Crew No. 3-Remove existing pole foundations
• Remove two foundations at Denton Tap/Sandy Lake intersection next to the SB LT
lane
• Remove and clean foundations installed last period
• Disconnect circuit to existing street lights foundations
• Dig around existing foundations, cut conduit and wiring
• Remove foundations and haul off
• Start with the two foundation at the Sandy Lake intersection next to the SB LT lane
Areas/questions • Awaiting call for when light poles will arrive so we can off load
for discussion: • Discuss how to pay for ground boxes relocation at intersection; no pay item in
contract
• Verify under bridge conduit and hungers
• Made contact with Mr. Terry Holmes last week. Will meet with him this week to identify
location to haul off dirt
• Need contact for Time Warner for ground box
• Need to stake light pole along Sandy Lake Rd
• Send request for boring crew to work on Saturday 2/20/2016. Need to install conduits
by boring in median along Denton Tap median from 121 to Highland Drive,and a
small section in the median just south of 121
