Park Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR)
Dear Mr. Garza,
We have completed a technical review of the Andrew Brown Park Conditional Letter of Map
Revision (CLOMR) prepared by Dunaway Associates, dated January 27, 2016, revised on
February 8, 2016, and received on February 8, 2016. This general review consists of
checking the submittal package for potential impacts to the levee and channel improvement
section of Denton Creek operated and maintained by the Denton County Levee Improvement
District No. 1 (DCLID-1).
The following comments are a result of this review:
1. The proposed park revisions seem to have no significant impacts on water surface
elevations on Denton Creek or on DCLID-1.
2. The proposed park revisions seem to have no significant impact on velocities on
Denton Creek or on DCLID-1.
3. The proposed park revisions seem to have no significant impact on valley storage
losses on Denton Creek.
Based on this information, Halff Associates, Inc. on behalf of DCLID-1 approves of the
proposed revisions to Andrew Brown Park as shown in the Andrew Brown Park Conditional
Letter of Map Revision submittal dated February 8, 2016.
This review was performed for the benefit of the Denton County Levee Improvement District
No. 1. This is not a detailed engineering review of any construction plans, and Halff
Associates,Inc. assumes no liability for the adequacy of the planning,design or construction
of the project.
