Revised Plan Comments
Dear Mr. Bentley:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed revised Sheets Al, C1 and C3 for the referenced
project. My understanding of these revisions was that they were necessary to show the
relocation of the proposed sidewalk leading up to the building from Denton Tap Rd. The
sidewalk is also shown on Sheets C2 and C4, so I'm unclear why those were not also provided.
However, I have no objections to the plans as submitted with the relocated sidewalk. They have
been stamped "Revised" and "Approved" by the City and may be picked up at your convenience.
When you provide as-built plans to this department, please be advised that all sheets should be
corrected to show the correct location of the sidewalk.
Also, prior to connecting your proposed 4" sanitary sewer to the existing 8" sanitary sewer line,
you should contact Glenn Hollowell, Asst. Director of Public Works, to determine if a waste
water access device will be necessary for that connection. This device is a testing point of the
sewer leaving your facility before it enters the City's facility and is sometimes required,
depending on the usage of a building. Mr. Hollowell's number is (972) 304-3551.
