*Based on a 6-inch depth an assumed soil unit weight of 98 pounds per cubic foot. The quantity of lime
shown is intented to treat only 6 inches of soil. Should additional depth be treated during the mixing operation,
additional lime will be required to compensate for the extra depth.
The Civil Engineer should be consulted for a determination of quantity of lime required. (HBC Engineering
would recommend a ~ addition rate of 6 percent lime.)
