Half Associates has prepared the resubmittal package to address the applicable City comment dated March 18,2016.
We have referenced the original city comments below in black and have our corresponding response directly below
each in red italics.
General
1. Remove XXX from cover page
Revised
2. Provide a copy of the proposed plat in the engineering plans
Noted. The plat is currently being revised to exclude 2 sections of a private water line and 3 sections of a
public line where previous detector checks were. The plat at the time of this submittal is attached.
3. Remove Landscape from Civil Plan Review
Noted. We request that the "for construction set"include landscape and irrigation for contractor purposes.
4. It appears in several areas that the sidewalk goes outside the ROW. Provide easements to cover this sidewalk

5. Why is the sidewalk not extended further east? I believe the city has a future plan for a trail down Grapevine
Creek area which may provide an access point
We would recommend the sidewalk stop where it currently shows. When the trail is installed, the sidewalk
connection could be part of the trail contract. A sidewalk right now that dead ends into the Creek is a potential
safety hazard. There is no sidewalk on the south side of the bridge.
6. Remove Sheet C0.06 from this set.The engineering department does not review this type of plan.We request
to keep this in the plan set for contractor purposes. We have added a note to the drawing bottom right that it
was not reviewed by the City
7. Drainage area divide lines became hard to see in this submittal. Possibly change line type and thickness.

8. Place the headwalls in the creek on piers.We have many failures of headwalls in the creeks.

9. Tie fire line connections to stubs previously provided-4 out of 5 tapping sleeves and valves.
We have tied into the existing Lot 1 stubout. 1 other tap will be utilitized for a public hydrant.
10. C3.06-label crossings
These are labeled above the profile with the Station call outs
