four representative samples of the proposed
or Atterberg Limits testing. Test results are
Based on the results, a series of Atterberg
performed on Sample No. 1 with two, four, and six
percent cement added. Test results are shown on Plate 1. The city
of Coppell requires the paving subgrade to have a Plasticity Index
(PI) of 12 or le~s. Since this was accomplished with two percent
added, we recommend that two percent cement be added at the job
site.
