Dear Hank:
Ames Company will manufacture automatic control valves in sizes large than ! 2" in
accordance with ~e conformance requirements of those sizes already Hated with NSF
International under their Standard 01 - Drinking Ware' System Components - Health
Effects. Please see the attached document stating the current sizes listed {4" through
12').
To my knowledge, no manufacture of automatic control valves has an NSF-61 listing
for any size above 12".
Please use this letter as reference to the fact that Ames Comp~ny's Stainless Star
products ar~ available up to site 24" in stainless steel with an option for stainless steel
seat (the 900 Series inchdes sizes Y' through 16", the 600 Series includ~ sizes 6"
thz'oug]l 24"). ~Arhen specified with stainless steel seat, the complete wetted surfage of
the vtlve is lead free.
