McDonald, has decided against accepting maintenance responsibility for the referenced slope adjacent to his property. As a result, I will have to turn to the Lakes of Coppell Association as my primary alternative for long-term maintenance. I have already discussed this matter with the Association and believe we can come to an agreement. I had hoped to avoid this alternative due to the additional yearly assessment that will probably be imposed on Fountain Park residents, but it appears I have run out of other options. Please note that it is the intent and commitment of Waters Edge Joint Venture to maintain this slope ourselves through 1994 and 1995. We expect to be complete with all the Fountain Park and Waters Edge II development and sales during that time period. I apologize for the lack of complete resolution of this matter to date, but I hope you are aware of our sincere efforts and intentions. We respectfully request that you consider the substantial leverage the City has and will continue to have regarding this matter, and with that assurance please allow six (6) additional building permits to be released in Fountain Park. that would bring to ten (I0) the total permits out of 30 lots in this addition.
