with a copy of ~est results for the Atterberg Limits using
different percentages of cement as a soil stabilizer.
It is Mr. Ree~'s recommendation to use 2% cement

on September 22, 1993, a representative of our office visited
site and obtaine¢ four representative samples of the proposed
street subgrade or ~tterberg Limits testing. Test results are
shown on Plate i Based on the results, a series of AtteTberg
Limits tests wer~ performed on Sample No. i with two, four, and six
percent cement added. Test results are shown on Plate 1. The City
of Coppe11 requi~es th? pavin? subgrade to ~ave a ~lasticity Index
(PI) of 12 or le$s. S~nce th~s was accomplished w~th two percent
added, we recomm~nd that two percent cement be added at the Job
~f any questions arise, do not hesitate to call.
