I contacted the FEMA warehouse to check on the document, "Mandatory Purchase of Flood Insurance Guidelines, 2008" (publication 083). Their response is that it is "outdated" and "not
available in the warehouse."
I went to the FEMA website next to see if I could download it, and it says:
"FEMA has decided the best course of action, to prevent confusion on the part of our stakeholders, is to rescind the Guidelines. This document will no longer be offered and will not
be updated in the future. Lenders should consult their respective regulatory agency for information regarding compliance with the mandatory purchase requirements."

We have received 7 of the 10 documents we originally ordered. The packing slip did also indicate that FEMA 257 and 268 were backordered. However, the packing slip did not list publication
FEMA 083 (Mandatory Purchase of Flood Insurance Guidelines, 2008). Can you please verify that publication 083 will be sent to us?
