Tduct: BITUMASTIC BLACK SOLUTION DESC~:"TION: USE: A serf-priming protective coating formulated with refined tars, spedal solvents and selected ingredients. It has a consistency of thin fluid paint or varnish and does not contain added fillers or fibers. FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY. NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN THE HOME. Recommended as a general maintenance coatin~ to rovidc a water- proof finish for metal or concrete. It is dem e~ for use under moderate corrosive conditions as experienced in ~; fumes of indust- rial acids, alkalis and chemicals. Do not use on the interiors of potable water tanks or containers as Bitumastic Black Solution will impart taste to the water. When exposed to sunliSht and effects of weathering, the coatin should be ed approx:mately 2 to 4 weeks then topcoated wit~ Bituplastic ~go¢. 28 or Bituplastic No. 33 or Bitugloss Aluminum Paint. This minimizes weathering effects that result in alligatoring or crack- ing of coal tar films. TECHNICAL DATA: Number of coats: 2 or 3 Volume solids: 59% Theoretical coverage: 946 mil sq. ft./gal.
