Subject: City of Coppell, Texas CRS
Mr. Garza,
I am sending you this email as a final attempt to gather any documentation that has been requested from you in regards to your CRS Cycle Visit.
Currently I am only able to verify 833 points for the City of Coppell, which would result in a retrograde from a class 7 CRS community to a class 9.
I understand Dave Carlton has requested information from you via email today for Activity 450 SMR. If you wish to receive credit in 450 please make sure the requested documentation is
submitted to Dave no later than the close of business Friday August 21st.
I have also requested revisions to the map and list required for Activity 420 Open Space several times, as the documentation that has been sent so far does not show the all of the information
required. Also, at this time we do not have all of the requested documentation for verify credit for Activity 540. If you are able to submit the requested documentation for these Activities
please do so no later than Friday August 28, 2015. No additional documentation will be accepted after August 28th . If you do not wish to receive credit in any of the Activities I mentioned
please just let me know and I will move forward with what I have.
As a reminder, please see the items below that are still missing for the Activities I detailed above. For Activity 450 SMR, you may use Dave Carlton’s email sent to you today to identify
what he needs from you for credit.
· Activity 420 Open Space: The list you provided on the Open Space Map does not show the totals for the acreage in the SFHA or the total property acreage. Please show the totals.
Also, for any properties that are kept Open because of ownership, please provide documentation that the owner will keep the parcel open. A letter from the owner would suffice as documentation.
If any of the properties are kept open because a Deed Restriction I will need a copy of the deed and the property would need to be identified as a deed restricted property on both the
map and list. You may indicate this by marking a “DR” next to these properties, if applicable.
· Activity 540 Drainage System Maintenance- For CDR credit, the technical reviewer, Dave Carlton had requested a signed 540- EHP form (which I have attached), a list of inspection
and maintenance records and a map of the City of Coppell system along with a corresponding inventory that meets the requirements as detailed 2013 CRS Coordinator’s Manual. For SDR credit,
Dave is looking for documentation that talks about blockage of waterways, streams, water bodies, etc. If you have this I would think it would be in your ordinance language somewhere.
If you have any questions or I can help in any way please feel free to contact me, thank you!
