The undersigned arrived on site, as requested, to observe:
1. The placement of 24 cubic yards of 4000 psi concrete for Approach at Bethel Road.
The required test limits were determined to be a slump of 3-5 inches, air content of 3-6 %,
batch to placement time of 90 minutes, and concrete temperature range of 50-95 degrees
Fahrenheit.
2. The placement of 57 cubic yards of 3500 psi concrete for Building Pad Slab Leave Out.
The required test limits were determined to be a slump of 3-5 inches, air content of 0-3 %,
batch to placement time of 90 minutes, and concrete temperature range of 50-95 degrees
Fahrenheit.
Concrete observed on this date appeared to be placed in compliance with project specifications
with regard to temperature, slump, air content, and batch to placement time.
Two sets of five laboratorycured concrete cylinders were cast for compressive strength testing
in our laboratory.
Prior to the placement of concrete, reinforcing steel was observed and appeared to installed in
accordance with plans and specifications.
