FIELD REPORT

The undersigned arrived on site, as requested, to observe:
1. The placement of 38.0 cubic yards of 4000 psi concrete for Approach from Freeport
Parkway.
2. The placement of 47.5 cubic yards of 3000 psi concrete for flatwork.
The required test limits were determined to be a slump of 3-5 inches, air content of 3-6 %,
batch to placement time of 90 minutes, and concrete temperature range of 60-95 degrees
Fahrenheit.
Concrete observed on this date appeared to be placed in compliance with project specifications
with regard to temperature, slump, air content, and batch to placement time.
Three sets of six laboratory cured concrete cylinders were cast for compressive strength testing
in our laboratory.
3. The placement of reinforcing steel for pour strip.
Reinforcing steel was observed and appeared to be installed in accordance with plans and
specs.
