Dear Mr.Marshall:
The Texas Architectural Barriers Act (chapter 469, TGC) requires inspection of the above referenced project.
"68.52. Inspections. (New rule section effective November 5,2001,26 TexReg 880 amended effective February 1
2005, TexReg 382; amended effective March 1, 2007, 32 TexReg 884; (a) The building or facility owner shall
request an inspection from a registered accessibility specialist no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the
completion of construction, renovation modification, or alteration of the subject building or facility."
As the Owner or the Owner Designated Agent you may request a TAS Inspection from me, because I, Sharon
Krueger from K+K Associates,LLP completed the plan review on your facility and am familiar with your project.
You may also request the inspection from another Registered Accessibility Specialist (RAS). If another RAS is
requested to perform your TAS Inspection their fees will be assessed by them. If you wish for Sharon Krueger to
perform your inspection please sign, fax or email to us the attached Request for Inspection form and our TAS
Inspection fee, if applicable,per our attached Fee invoice. The fee must be paid before we will perform the TAS
Inspection.

REQUEST FOR INSPECTION
In accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 469.105, and TDLR Administrative Rule 68.52, the
owner of a building or facility subject to compliance with Chapter 469.101 shall obtain an inspection to
verify compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) not later than the first anniversary of the
completion of construction.
The request for an inspection must be made by completing this form and submitting it to a Registered
Accessibility Specialist(RAS) not later than 30 calendar days after the completion of construction.
The completed Request for Inspection form must be received prior to proceeding with the inspection.
Following the inspection, the owner will be advised in writing of the results.
