City Engineer City of Coppell 255 Parkway Blvd. Coppell, TX 75019 Re: Forest Cove Estates, Phase II Dear Mr. Griffin: Site Concrete, Inc. has been contracted to excavate the subject project; copies of the contract and a check for applicable fees were forwarded to the City on February 23. At that time, we understood our grading plans were approved and we were free to begin work. We now understand work cannot proceed until the contractor has obtained a permit. The required application for that permit titled "Early Grading/Excavation Permit" requires a letter from the "Property Owner/Engineer/Developer" but does not specify what the letter is to address; we are hopeful the following will satisfy that requirement. The contract between Pacific United Development Corp. and Site Concrete, Inc. requires Site to install and maintain erosion control per the approved plans. Weekly inspections of those facilities will be performed by Mr. Danny Miller of Rodman Excavation. Please accept this letter as our concurrence with the request of Site Concrete to be issued a permit for the site grading and excavation. Please let me know if you need additional information.
