4-lane transition.docFrom: Matt Atkins <matkins@tnponline.com> To: "Ken Griffin (Email)" <kgriffin@ci.coppell.tx.us>, "Suzan Taylor (Email)" <staylor@ci.coppell.tx.us> Date: 2/9/2004 2:20:58 PM Subject: 4lane transition Ken & Suzan, I have been corresponding with Carla Bates at the Greenville office of TxDOT and she has told me that TxDOT does not have any objections to extending 4lanes of HMAC pavement to connect with the service road for SH121. She did say that any work to be done within TxDOT ROW will need to be approved by their office, but that would be in the form of a letter instead of a granting a permit through a formal permit application process. However, we will need to provide all the standard details that TxDOT requires and we will need to match the existing pavement section. When we meet to discuss the review comments for the preliminary plans, we can discuss this issue in more detail. Thanks and please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
