Keith,
I’m attaching a photo that shows that someone drove up on top of the box. Given there isn’t a curb and
the road is narrow, I can see how it happened.
We will not be home the next few days, but we a hopeful that someone can get out a and repair. The
manual valve, in the box, is off, but I’ve left the sprinkler system engaged in anticipation of the box being
repaired.
We appreciate your help with this problem.

I spoke to the water department and they indicated the issue is with our irrigation system
box. They suggested we reach back out to you to see if you had a chance to take a look?

When I came home this evening, it appears that someone drove over our water
supply box – sorry, I don’t know what to call it. It’s the green box right next to
the street. It was gushing water pretty heavily, but we were able to get one of the
2 valves closed. The other feels like it was broken altogether.
I did call the water department, and they are coming out tomorrow morning, but
wanted to let you know because it does appear that the temporary road in front of
the house was not marked to prevent someone from driving over the box.
For now, we put one of the cones from the other side of the street on the spot
where the box is.

Keith and Rick,
I appreciate the attention you have given to get our sprinkler system back on
line. However, there is still a problem. One zone, associated with the valve box
in the construction area will not shut off, even if the electronics are shut off. To
stop it from running water, I have gone and shut the valve in the box off.
I just tried it again today, hoping if it was a sticking solenoid, that it might now
work… However, as soon as I turned the manual valve on, that zone started
again.
Your help is appreciated.
