Subject:101 Oak Trail - DUST - notice - hazard environment
Keith, Rick and neighbors cc on this email-attorney Ken Harter BCC
I have tried to discuss issues with Rick and they fall on deaf ears.
Due to improper upkeep of the construction site and excessive dust-lack of cleaning street at the end of the
day,
we are living in a pure dirt heap-as the lowest point of sandy lake road.
I have pictures of examples of the clouds of dust so thick you cannot see through them.
Mother - 81 is on a nebulizer, pro-air and having breathing difficulties, due to the air/dust. She was doing fine,
but months of this is getting to be sick...and a sickening enrironment.
Within sixty days she is also scheduled to have retina/eye surgery.
I, just had an opthamolgy appt in Grapevine at a specialist and a condition due to excessive dust is causing me
to have salve 4 times a day placed in my eyes. This damages the cornea and lens of an eye. If this does not
clear up and the salve does not work, they want to do an operation to have an insert to help me create extra
tears to flush my eyes. THIS IS NOT A JOKE and I can provide proof.
My son, is allergic to dust, trees and grass (medical proof). If in the normal environment of coppell, he is a-
ok. He has had to be placed on pro-air treatments-months of eating dust.
In discussions with Rick Odell to provide water trucks and contain the dust clouds, his response is that Bill
Mills nor other neighbors but me are complaining. Mr Odell does not like the mud conditions. He does
provide a water truck for ease of the digging work.
I live in a bowl affect, 101 Oak Trail the lowest point on sandy lake per survey on this side and I am asking
my neighbors to provide feedback to you of their visual of the continual dust clouds.
We change our filters every few days with my brothers help, we have tried our best to keep the dust
down....but this is becoming intollerable and now we need INTERVENTION - AND I MEAN IMMEDIATELY.
If no steps are taken to IMMEDIATELY REACH OUT AND ASSURE ME AS WELL AS modify this construction
hazard, I will turn all of our medical records over to attorney Ken Harter, who hopefully, will have some
suggestions.
DRIVE SANDY LAKE AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF THE DUST. WOULD YOU OR ANYONE ON THE CITY
COUNCIL LIKE TO LIVE ON TOP OF A DIRT PILE?
Respectfully
1
