Gentlemen:
Submitted here are the results of testing and observation of
construction materials at the referenced project. This report
addresses activities for the period of October 19 through 26, 1995.
"Select" fill was delivered to the site on October 19, 1995. A
sample of the fill was obtained and tested for Atterberg Limits
[Plasticity Ihdex (PI)]. The "select" fill met project
specifications. An optimum-moisture maximum density curve (Standard
Proctor Curve) was therefore developed. The results of the Atterberg
Limit test are shown on the moisture-density curve, Plate 1 (Curve
No. 5) attached.
During the of October 19 through 27, 1995, total of 13 field density
tests were taken on panel leave-out backfill and paving subgrade.
Test results are shown on Plate 2. Where tested, materials were
found to be in compliance with project specifications.
